Framer / Carpenter
We are looking to hire an experienced framing carpenter to join the team at Asher Homes. You will be required to construct and/or repair the framework of primarily new and remodel residential housing projects.
As a successful framing carpenter, you should have a sound knowledge of building codes, safety regulations (OSHA), have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to constructively communicate with others and ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner with attention to detail.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Knowledge of woods, their uses and adaptability
- Prepare building materials for installation
- Frame floors, walls and roofs
- Make repairs as required
- Climb a ladder, stand on scaffolding
- Perform installation of trusses and roof sheathing
- Install siding
- Install exterior trim
- Clean job site
