Bookkeeper / Office Manager

Asher Homes is seeking a Full Time Office Manager / Bookkeeper in Ashland, Oregon. We are looking for a long-term position where an individual can grow with our company.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • QuickBooks entry/bank statements/reconciliation
  • Process checks received
  • Answer the phone and direct calls
  • Office management and general clerical task
  • Manage and Update Subcontractor records, contact info and insurance
  • Contract entry for job specific needs
  • Review of contract documents and verification of compliance
  • Interact with Insurance company to fulfill changing requirements
  • Spreadsheets and job costing
  • Update Website, Facebook and social networking sites.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proficient PC user (Windows 10)
  • Highly Proficient in Quickbooks, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and Apple Software Experience
  • Data entry experience
  • Typing
  • Self motivated & organized
  • Attention to detail
  • Research skills
  • Ability to take direction
  • Excellent communication skills (email & telephone)
  • Ability to prioritize work and multitask

Desired Skills:

  • Experience QuickBooks
  • Experience in the construction industry preferred
  • Experience with website design and social networking sites
  • Customer service/client management experience
  • Applicant must be willing to learn skills that they may not be currently proficient in.
